About Me

I'm an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), have my Masters in Nursing Education and a true passion for birth, babies, breastfeeding and teaching.

As an L&D and mother-baby nurse and birth assistant to many families over the years, what I have learned the most is how much I enjoy helping families reach their goals by providing knowledge and support. Each family is unique and special.

My ultimate goal is to help each family reach their own goals by providing support, knowledge, and tools necessary to accomplish this lifelong journey.

When I'm not helping families reach their goals I am enjoying time with my daughters, reading and fostering puppies from Guiding Eyes for the Blind.

Lacation Services

Included but not limited to initial or ongoing latching concerns, breast engorgement, over or under milk supply, nipple pain, clogged milk ducts or mastitis, pumping, returning to work, weaning, and general support and encouragement

Prenatal Consultations

1 hour visit providing information on breast changes, latching and position techniques and different stages of milk supply as well as what to expect in the first few weeks.

Home Visit Consultations

Visits are generally 1 ½-2 hours. It includes a general health and birth history, assessment of mom and baby, and a feeding will be observed. Together we will develop a plan of care to help you achieve your goals. Phone or email follow up is included. Additional follow up visits are available if needed.

Virtual Consultations

Available for prenatal or follow-up visits. Many questions and concerns can be addressed by video conference. I am available to help you wherever you are located.
